How to play handball
Handball matches are played most of the time in indoor halls, and through two competing teams, each consisting of seven main players present on the field once, including the goalkeeper, and the handball match extends over two halves of half each. An hour is interspersed with a half-hour break, during which both teams change their positions on the field

The team that has the right to start playing is determined by drawing lots through the match referees, and the players of the team in possession of the ball start passing the ball among themselves with the aim of moving it towards the opposing team’s goal.

It should be noted that when drawing lots, the referee who draws lots must touch the midfield line with one foot, while all the players of both teams must remain in their own half of the field.

A handball player can pass the ball, aim it at the opposing team's goal, or advance it to only three steps; While he is not entitled to keep the ball for more than three seconds, using any part of the player's body except for the area below the knee; Where handball players are prohibited from kicking the ball using their feet or shins

In the event that the attacking team cut the ball by a defender of the opposing team; The attack turns in favor of the last team, but in the event of a goal being scored, play is resumed through the team that scored the goal in its own net by playing the ball from the middle of the field.

How to win and lose in handball
The handball game aims to score goals in the opposing team's goal, and a goal is counted in favor of the team after the ball has completely crossed the opposing team's goal line, and each team must score the largest number of goals during the time allotted for the match

Where the team that can score the largest number of goals wins the match, and the match can end in a tie between the two teams, unless the competition requires determining the winner of the match; extra time is resorted to for a period ranging from two to five minutes, and if the result continues to be tied during the extra times; The outcome of the match is decided by penalty kicks.

The difference between the goalkeeper and the rest of the players
Handball players are prohibited from touching the ball through their legs, specifically the area below the knee, but the goalkeeper in this game is allowed to defend his goal with any part of his body, so goalkeepers are the only players who are allowed to touch the ball with their legs and feet in handball

But this is only while blocking the balls that are shot at their goal and not when they pass the ball outside the goal area or when controlling the ball unnecessarily, and the goalkeeper is allowed exclusively without the rest of the players to be inside the goal area, which is a semi-circle with a diameter of six meters
